3DActiveTrac

Kingsley Physical Therapy will also provide access to the Saunders 3D ActiveTrac, another first in the area. The 3D ActiveTrac is both a mobilization and traction table and has been a breakthrough in non-surgical treatment of the back and neck As a traction table, it can be adjusted to provide cervical, thoracic, or lumbar decompression. Its innovative design provides your therapist with significantly more options for relieving your pain.

While typical traction tables utilize ropes and harnesses, the 3D ActiveTrac uses a unique pneumatic system which actively separates the lower half of the table when providing lumbar traction. Because of this, the 3D ActiveTrac is able to combine traction with three dimensional movement and positioning to create the most optimal position for healing and pain relief. This is important for those with lumbar disc problems especially those who are unable to straighten up because of low back or leg pain. This is also an exciting new option for patients with arthritis, advanced degeneration of the spine and lumbar stenosis. Pain from the injured spine changes with movement and positioning, it only makes sense that the table can adjust to take advantage of this. Three dimensional capabilities are illustrated below.
